Right
to Education Act has been formed to give admission to poor children in Private
schools as they cannot afford to pay the high donation fees. Shri B.R Lodhi,
president of Durg district of Right Thinking Indians Association” has sought
information to know the number of children who were given admission on the
basis of the RTE Act from the SPIO, District Education Office of Rajnandgaon of
the state of Chhattisgarh. The RTI response letter says that 2206 students have
been admitted in 26 private schools. Appeal is being made against other SPIO’s
who have denied/avoided the RTI Application in one pretext or another. The RTI
reply is uploaded.
