The "Right Thinking Indians Association" has made a complaint to DGCEI, Raipur about non payment of Service Tax by one Service Provider named as "Rockford Bar & Restaurant" Supela, Bhilai. Since no action is being taken after expiry of a reasonable period, RTI Application is being sent to DGCEI, Raipur. If DGCEI will look after big cases, Central Excise is too weak to raid, then the question is to be answered who will take action for non payment of Service Tax? If the tax evaders are not punished, the conscientious Tax payers will think that payment of Tax is an act of foolishness
