I live in Raipur, the capital city of Chhattisgarh.
Chhattisgarh is in natural resources but there is no such big tourist spots.
There is natural scenery in Bastar district but Naxalites were found there
along with animals. So like other prudent persons living in the capital city, I
also do not visit Bastar area for protection of my life. But man is a social
animal and wants to move for change in routine life.
Shopping Malls give a diversion. There are 4 malls in Raipur.
The biggest is “City Centre”, Pandri. People from nearby villages also visit
this mall. The parking area has always a bad smell which proves that is near to
Bus stand and foul smell is a criteria of Indian Bus stand. The oldest Mall is “36
city Mall”. When it was completed there was complete rush for like Kumbh mela.
Now this old does not attract much people.
“R.K Mall”, is too small to attract the attention and it is practically an abandoned place. The best Mall in my view is “Magneto Mall”. Magneto is beautifully designed, well maintained and shops offer variety of goods.

I like other take light refreshment in Food Bazar of the
mall. The thing which draw my attention and for which I am writing this article
is a simple thing in MRP price. The Mall shop charges Rs 20/- but the price of
the water bottle shows the price as Rs 17/-. That means there is extra charge
of Rs 3/- per bottle collected through out the year. In every mall, airport,
luxury star hotels, mela and in every important occasions, this excess
collection takes place. It is also the case of cold drinks and other things. My
friend Shri Kunal Shukla, president of RTIA, district-Raipur has also expressed
his opinion in the same way in facebook. Every time when a product is sold as I
discussed above, MRP Rule in fixing the maximum price is violated in an open
manner but this should not go on without any protests. So, friends let us think
about it.
