is rich in mining & Mining Department is a sensitive Department. It is
learnt that a sizable donation is given by the contractors to the election fund
of the Political Parties. So, our obvious interest is to know about the records
of such Department. It is true that RTI Act says about providing information
& document kept with Govt Authorities and no donation is recorded in such
documents and therefore amount of donation given in do number way is out of purview of the RTI Act. Still, we are
waiting for the outcome of the RTI Application given by Durg unit of “Right
Thinking Indian Association” Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The RTI Application addressed
to PIO, Jagdalpur is hereby uploaded 4r public viewing. Last time, we have
sought about copy of 2 complete files i.e. Bhatgaon Coal Block I & II from Mining Directorate of Chhattisgarh and
we got a RTI reply for supply of copies of 2 Note sheet pages in exchange of Rupees
2/-.
